Reliability is one of the accounting rules that I learnt during Fresh Mart Project. In real business, reliability is crucial in preparing financial report as the report not only reflects the business condition, but also to attract potential shareholders. One example would be company’s assets are recorded at their historical price, not the market value. Hence, the information in financial report should be accurate and prepared not for the sake of attracting the shareholders. In Fresh Mart Project, all transactions are recorded accurately to achieve balance in the statement of financial position.

Almost all business students from July and August intake are facing their final “war” after going through all the ups and downs in their tutorials and assignments. I am one of them. Aiming for CPGA of 4.0 is tough as assignment marks can pull the final exam marks down, but, with study plans and good time management, I believe I am able to reach that goal. In this reflective journal, I will discuss on my plans on preparing for final exams.
The first plan is rather simple, which is listening to the Lecture Capture system or “Rewind”. Since it serves as a platform for students to view the lectures anywhere and anytime, so I utilise the system to view almost all of the modules. However, I viewed those slides that I was unclear because it will be time consuming to actually view the full two hours.
Next, I had prepared a study timetable for managing my time more efficiently even though I have a good time management. With this study timetable, I am able to allocate equal time that I should spend for each module, say two hours for Accounting module and another two for Microeconomics. And of course, I will allocate an hour for a break in between the studies as I believe that not only I am unable to focus in a module for more than two hours, but also help to refresh my mind.
With this plan, I am confident that I can achieve the goal to have the CGPA of 4.0. Reason because, first, rewind capture can actually assist me in refreshing my memories and make the unclear become clearer. Moreover, study timetable helps to allocate even time for all modules, so I will have enough time for all the modules.
